Training districts
The districts where the camps in our directory are located. We publish no distance or travel time: they have no source.
- Chaweng Beach
- Superpro Samui
Why train here
- A resort-style camp, designed for progressing without pressure.
- An island with beaches, restaurants and excursions, including for those who join you without training.
- An airport on the island, handy for a short stay.
Best season
The southern east coast is the exception: according to the Thai government’s official portal, the rains there continue until December and November is the wettest month; October to December are therefore the rainiest months, while the Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) is already dry.
Getting there
Koh Samui has its own airport and can also be reached by ferry from the mainland. Chaweng is on the east coast; finish the trip by taxi or transfer.

Where to stay
- At the camp: according to our listing, deluxe rooms by the pool, standard rooms and a dorm.
- Or in a Chaweng hotel, close to the beach.
- We publish no room prices: ask the camp.
Training without breaking the bank
- Ask the camps for their weekly and monthly rates: we recorded none.
- Compare with Koh Phangan, where one camp publishes a per-session, weekly and monthly price list.
What to do nearby
- Chaweng Beach.
- Boat trips to nearby islands.
- Spas and massages to recover.
