All-inclusive Muay Thai camps in Thailand

“All-inclusive” has no common definition: at one camp it means training and a room; at another meals or a transfer are added. This page gives the checklist to know what you are paying for, and the table of plans with lodging whose prices camps publish.

In brief

  • What a plan covers depends on the camp: Fairtex states nights and sessions, others do not.
  • For a week with lodging, Khongsittha is published lower than Fairtex, but the contents differ.
  • No published plan includes the visa; only Diamond explicitly announces stays with meals.

What the word really covers

Three levels exist, from simplest to most complete. None is a standard: read the camp’s page.

  • Training + room: Fairtex (Pattaya) and Khongsittha (Bangkok) publish stays of this type.
  • Training + room + meals: Diamond (Koh Phangan) offers stays with lodging and meals but its amounts were not recorded.
  • Premium plan: Koh Fight (Koh Samui) lists all-inclusive weekly plans.

Who it pays off for

  • You are arriving in Thailand for the first time and want one booking: all-inclusive saves you searching for lodging.
  • You come for one to two weeks: Fairtex and Khongsittha publish short stays.
  • You are two: Fairtex publishes a two-person rate, which you can compare with two single rates.
  • Less worthwhile if you stay several months: compare with training-only rates and lodging you pick yourself (see the prices page).

The 6 questions to ask before paying

Ask them in writing and keep the answers: they are worth more than an online review.

  1. Are your prices published, and what do they include (classes, lodging, VAT)?
  2. How many students per trainer on the pads?
  3. Is there a separate beginners’ group?
  4. Is sparring compulsory, and from when?
  5. Do you issue the confirmation for the DTV visa, and in what form?
  6. What happens if I leave early (written refund policy)?

Frequently asked questions

What is included in an all-inclusive plan?

It depends on the camp. Fairtex states the nights and sessions; Khongsittha the lodging; Diamond lodging and meals. Use the checklist on this page.

Which all-inclusive camp is cheapest?

For a week with lodging, Khongsittha (7 nights, 13,300 ฿) is published lower than Fairtex (1 week, 16,000 ฿), but contents differ: Fairtex states 10 sessions.

Is the visa included?

No published plan says so. The DTV visa costs 10,000 ฿; ask the camp for a participation confirmation.

Are meals included?

Only Diamond explicitly lists stays with lodging and meals. For the others, ask what the plan covers.
